시애틀에 소재한 워싱턴대학(UW)의 포스터 비즈니스 스쿨이 세계에서 35번째로 우수한 대학으로 선정됐다.
영국의 '이코노미스트'는 18일 올해 세계 주요대학의 비즈니스 스쿨 랭킹을 선정해 발표했다. 이에 따르면, '톱 10' 대학 가운데 7곳이 미국내 대학으로 다트머스(1위), 시카고대(2위), 버지니아대(4위), 하바드대(5위), UC버클리(6위), 콜럼비아대(7위), 스탠포드대(8위) 등이 포함됐다.
이코노미스트는 순위에 논란이 있는 것은 사실이지만 나름대로 기준을 갖고 세계 각 대학을 비교해 선정했다며 "하바드나 스탠포드 등과 같은 그룹으로 고려되지 않았던 캐나다의 슐리크(Schulich)가 올해에 톱 10에 오른 것은 놀라운 사실"이라고 밝혔다.
